            The fact that the son of one of the most famous tv chefs, who is part of a Irish culinary giant, got caught with €30k worth of grass means it was always going to get plastered on the front page of the papers. You seriously think that they did this to get media attention?

          30000 equals about 3750 street value. Its just weed , someone has to supply it because of the prohibition. god bless him. The x8 inflated police estimate is never questioned. To put it another way. you buy €100 bag of weed . the fuzz pinch you around the corner, you get charged with having €800 worth of weed. how long until the pigs start saying its 10 times the actual amount? 12 times? 15 times? basically meaning you can charge anyone with anything if you want, whenever you want. Hopefully this arrest actually helps the cannabis cause. the more poshos that get caught and let go, the faster they’ll have to make it legal.

            I do think that weed should be either decriminalised or legalised, but this isn’t someone who was caught with a 10-spot they were going to smoke themselves – it is someone who got <€30k* together, and invested it in illegal drugs, which he was then going to supply to other people.

            I wonder how he at 18 he managed to get the thousands of euro required to purchase a bulk order; I wonder if the people he bought the weed from are happy-clappy pot growers, or psychotic gangsters who also do a bit of pimping and the occasional murder?

            *even accepting for Gardaí's mad figures, it was still a few grand

            If it was legal, there wouldn’t be psychotic murderers in the path of grower-to-consumer.

    The top of the labour elite betrayed labours principles and Corbyn needs to clean house or expect more knives in his back than ceazar
    The future of the labour party rests with a purge to rid its self of the cancer of those elements
    And he owes this to the electorate
