This afternoon.
Ranelagh, Dublin 6
A work from the Grey Area collective which is “a collaboration of multiple artists, creating works across several mediums with the aim to change the laws surrounding large-scale public artwork in Ireland…And doing our bit for those in need”.
In fairness.

Is that Kevin McAllister in the top left window.
Michael Jackson just out of shot.
Whatshisface from Rear Window ramming them from behind.
Am I the only one looking for ‘Cold War’ Steve McFadden?
That is a brilliant way of making the point.
No doubt we will have some cretin coming along complaining about defacing private property etc. Property that is clearly being left to rot of course.
that’s brilliant. I also saw a “shame on you, this could house a family” poster taped to the derelict building across from the Barge.
Super job. Any chance this Grey Area artistry might be adjusted to show one of the characters reading the Thursday Irish Times Residential Property Supplement?
This one needs to be in Stoneybatter and Docklands too.
That’s brill, makes the point a lot better then the other protests!
It doesn’t, but it’s fabulous none the less…
Right beside Eoghan Murphy’s constituency office as well……
Former office. He couldn’t afford to stay…ha
Actually its not
He moved… because he couldn’t afford the rent. Not even a joke.
I still lol’d.
Boris Johnson watching proceedings
more of this !
This is great but I wish more urban artists would take a leaf out of Banksy’s books and just do it without the corporate ‘Come Get Us for all your guerilla marketing needs’ blurb
^This.
Subset are a marketing company. I don’t trust them and their shameless self promotion (masquerading as social campaigning) in the slightest.
I’d happily support another community art scheme like was established to decorate the electrical boxes that give more spaces for artists to express themselves in a properly managed way.

I particularly use that example because I think some of them are great but it’s clear that those pieces suffer a lot of wear-and-tear and need ongoing repair and maintenance or replacement or they end up looking terrible.
I see Yoghan Murphy on the RTE news, now a professional ESB fellow complete with hard hat, luminous jacket, but no rolled up sleeves. Solving the storm damage. Aren’t we lucky to have such a superman?
I bet he used to be a male stripper in a go go bar.
sure we were all strippers in go go bars at some stage, soq
I was never a male stripper in a go go bar BB. I worked my way through college using the skills handed down by my dear mother, blackmail and extortion.
Seriously, where is the GIS mapping site of vacant buildings in Dublin like Cork has done?
Where is Omar Sharan? Wave something shiny in front of that queen etc.
