Absolute Privilege

From top: Sir Philip Green; Wednesday’s Daily Telegraph

Lord Peter Hain, who identified him in the Lords, said it was his duty to name him, given the “serious and repeated” nature of the allegations.

…the Telegraph ran an article accusing an unnamed businessman of racial and sexual abuse of staff.

A legal injunction prevented the Telegraph from publishing his identity.

The legal injunction has not been lifted, but Lord Hain’s statement, made under Parliamentary privilege, has been widely reported in the UK media

        A law unto himself

A few months ago, we ran a story about how Philip Green made a rather generous business offer to Kate Moss's daughter Lila – offering to give her up to half of his annual profits in exchange for a kiss.

There has been a bit of development since then: Lila has turned 16.

Which is one legal obstacle out of the way…

Had a few names under consideration, and he was one. Someone should say to him “you’re fired.” I just hope this story doesn’t involve any innocent, ahem, virgins. Green was a greedy scumbag before any of this. British establishment full of them. Sorry, Sir Green.

The world is finally turning on this dirtbag. The bullying has been public knowledge for a long time.
I’ve been told by someone in the know that topshop is crumbling. They’re possibly pulling out of Ireland completely- there’s also talk of them cutting down to one store, the shop on Oxford Circus
