Can’t blame him. Blame the shambolic irish set up. Blame incompetent John Delaney, Blame hard man bully Roy Keane, blame the dinosaur Martin O’Neill

Can’t blame him as England are the better bet currently but he shouldn’t have played the friendlies.

I hope he goes the way of Jack Grealish.

Jack Grealish is playing really well for Villa. It’s a matter of time before he’s playing with a bigger club. If Levy wasn’t such a penny pincher he’d currently be playing for Spurs.
        Rice looks the real deal.
He was part of the Irish set up and witnessed first hand how shambolic it was. He witnessed Keane bullying Arthur. He witnessed Martin O’Neill not coaching players and announcing teams shortly before games to unexpecting players. He witnessed that this was a footballing nation going nowhere under the guidance of John Delaney

          that’s all probably true

also, though, west ham know that the difference between rice being an Ireland player or an England player is probably £30 million when they eventually sell him

more to the point, i remember in the secret footballer, kitson advises a young lad to declare for england over ireland on the basis that even one cap for england would be worth a million quid to the player whereas 50 caps for ireland gets you sod all.

apparently the contract on offer to him up to now was 30k a week, which he was stalling on. interesting to see what it gets upped to after this.

            Sure we’ll see.
I think Grealish is too inconsistent but I’ve been wrong before
( damn you Jimmy Carter! )

definitely shouldn’t have played the friendlies

he knew back in May that this was coming – that’s when David Sullivan stated publicly that rice would go on to “the rock of the England defence”

pressure from his club was a big factor

bet my nuts he doesn’t get more than 10 caps

To watch a team who got to the semi finals of the world cup.

Admittedly from a very good seat.

yup and the kit is so much nicer. that garish green can be improved on. Making the supporters buy it with a sponsor too is appaling.

Everything the fai does is appalling, they’re an absolute shambles of an organization run by a gobsh!*e.
