Theresa May has united the remainers and brexiteers…against her. Tis no wonder she looks so forlorn in that pic. Interesting times, indeed.

MajODo is well able to handle herself, she knew full well what she signed up for. I very much doubt if she reads the OAP troll comments on Broadsheet.

Why is Rathkeale expecting Mayhem at Christmas? Is Imelda May playing a gig? Surely you wouldn’t need a massive garda presence for one of those concerts.

The new GDP figures out this week put the UK above all other EU countries in the G7 in terms of GDP growth quarter-on-quarter.
France’s growth rate has halved on last year’s Q3 numbers, and German growth is also expected to halve from 0.8% last year to just 0.4%.
On average Eurozone growth was a dismal 0.2%, a new four year low. The rest of the world is experiencing much stronger growth.
The Bank of England is warning that the UK economy is nearing full capacity and it may have to raise interest rates.

… women, people of color, and young people are doing the heavy lifting. The big question on the table is what does that mean for 2020?…
… the argument that Democrats need to nominate a custodial figure who is going to be inoffensive to a wide swath of the electorate, because we need to play for the general election, win over independents, and be inoffensive to Republicans and get some crossover votes—I don’t think that’s going to carry the day in 2020.

Very respectful minute’s silence at Twickers for Remberance Day weekend.
Tremendous work by the Royal British Legion in raising funds by selling the Poppy.
They’re raised more than a pound for every second since the end of the First World War.
Base Details
If I were fierce, and bald, and short of breath,
I’d live with scarlet Majors at the base,
And speed glum heroes up the line to death.
You’d see me with my puffy petulant face,
Guzzling and gulping in the best hotel,
Reading the Roll of Honour. ‘Poor young chap,’
I’d say—‘I used to know his father well.
Yes, we’ve lost heavily in this last scrap.’
And when the war was done and youth stone dead,
I’d toddle safely home and die — in bed.

If you could hear, at every jolt, the blood
Come gargling from the froth-corrupted lungs,
Obscene as cancer, bitter as the cud
Of vile, incurable sores on innocent tongues,—
My friend, you would not tell with such high zest
To children ardent for some desperate glory,
The old Lie: Dulce et decorum est
Pro patria mori.

-The Irish Criminal Assets Bureau Will Be Interviewing O’Brien Over The Moriarty Tribunal’s Findings After Gathering “Further Material” About The Matter.
-The Moriarty Tribunal Described O’Brien’s Transactions Were “Demonstrably Referable To The Acts And Conduct Of Mr. Lowry.
