      I got one a few years ago. It’s an annoyingly good coat: I’m sick of it but it’s pristine so no excuse to dump it.

        I have one in burnt orange. Got caught in the spokes of the bike; pristine other than one big bicycle grease stain. Great jackets! I always pay in sterling, especially on Amazon, always a saving.

          For Kindle users, buy on amazon.com in dollars. Unbelievable how much cheaper some of the books are.

            ah darnit, really? i have my eye on some academic books that are pricey even on Kindle, but mine’s aligned with brit Amazon at the moment

        They’re the business. Was wearing my green one today, it’s 8 years old but looks better than when it was new. There’s a Scottish site called country attire or the likes that sell them at a reasonable price. They offer 10% off when you subscribe to newsletter. All you need is a pair of Northampton made boots

    so while Amazon sales sore as people can no longer Christmas shop in Paris, and manifestations are organised through FB as a riot against large corporations and the lack of responsibility therein for the fossil crisis ( FB who ironically owe tax in France) boosts the usage ….oh la la…

    Dealz charges €1.49 for items that cost a pound in Poundland (Hence the name!). Iceland charges anything from €1.25 – €1.50 for items branded £1. Debenhams halves the sterling price, and ads it on to get the Euro price,

    We are being royally ripped off on the basis of a currency difference that hasn’t been anywhere near as big in years.

    Might as well munch on the bag as on these travesties. Unfortunately all the potato and corn based products like Monster Munch, Tayto Snax, Hula Hoops, Chip Stix etc have gone from delicious flavoursome snacks of the 80’s and 90’s to plastic textured tasteless bags of air as real potato and corn are replaced with a cheaper simulated modified powder mix with food additives to save on production costs. We’ll never taste heaven again.
