Did anyone go to this? From what was posted online beforehand it sounded like it was going to be a lot of anti-immigration, anti-“globalist”, anti-flouridation, climate cranks, and the lads above who look like “freemen-on-the-land” types. I was definitely getting a bit of a right-wing vibe off the whole thing. There was a lot of talk of beating up any “Marxists” that tried to join the march and in the same breath saying that it was a grassroots, apolitical movement for all the people of Ireland.
Loads of guff on their Facebook page about not wanting any violence at their protest. Don’t join an violent international protest movement then.
They should stop battering police cars with their selfie sticks, or at least take the phones off first.
