Behold: the Aviar R67 – a conceptual all electric version of the 1967 Ford Mustang by Russian startup company Aviar.

The company claims a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 2.2 seconds and a 480km range with all-wheel drive, a carbon fibre chassis (mimicking the original first generation muscle car) and a lightweight custom tubular aluminium subframe.

It may never make it to production, but still.

but @Starina, that’s precisely the problem here with all these e-reboots

      they don’t vroom vroom. literally.

this is a replica fastback, the one (in beautiful highland green) that Steve McQueen drove in Bullitt. take 10 mins out and watch the famous carchase scene. none of that soul, drama or romance exist here. it looks good on the outside but that’s where it ends. it’s a kenwood chef in drag. I can absolutely guarantee Steve McQueen would not so much have sat in this falsehood.
