Colin Farrell
Tomorrow night.
On the Late Late Show.
Sarah Whiteacre, of RTÉ, writes:
While he is best known for his work on the silver screen, Colin Farrell also works closely with DEBRA Ireland, a charity providing support to patients and families living with the debilitating skin condition Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB).
Colin and EB sufferer Emma Fogarty join Ryan Tubridy to discuss what it’s like to live with the condition…
Morning Ireland presenter Bryan Dobson will be live in studio with Ryan to take a look back at some of the images which best represent the stand-out news stories of 2018…
Currabinny’s James Kavanagh and William Murray will be sharing recipes for dishes to serve alongside your turkey; we’ll have a master brewer from the Artisan Brew Academy in Dublin to explain how you can brew your own beer, and Christmas ham is front and centre as we chat with pig farmer Ivan Belton and butcher Clive Clarke.
In 2016, Derek O’Connor lost his wife Maeve to bowel cancer, leaving him and their three children to navigate the world without her. Derek joins Ryan to chat about grief and dealing with the death of his wife in the run-up to Christmas.
We’ll also be joined by Brendan Grace for a look back at his career… and there’ll be music from the Palestrina Choir, and John Gibbons featuring Nina Nesbitt.
The Late Late Show is on tomorrow night, on RTÉ One, at 9.35pm

Bryan Dobson on biggest news stories in 2018? What about the news a week ago that he was paid €198,146 (excluding pension contribution and other benefits and extracurricular work which is dependent on his RTE profile) at loss-making RTE as an employee in 2016? Maybe Ryan, on €495,000, can rib him about it.
And, does anyone know if Brendan Grace will be touring during the Christmas break? I bet he will!
But it’s nice though to see a weekly ah-would-you-look-at-the-sick-person-poor-craytur slot. You’d need to have a heart of stone not to be profoundly affected by it all.
Late Late Show is lucky to get 350,000 average audiences in 2018 (last week’s was 382,000). By TV standards, it’s still mega but come on, it’s around a 10th of the adult population and let’s face it, it’s a fairly wizened cohort.
