Last night.
Merrion Street, Dublin 2.
An unnamed pizza delivery man brings pies, garlic bread and, possibly, chicken wings to Government Buildings as a special emergency cabinet meeting took place inside over Brexit as the UK and EU ‘agreed’ a package on the backstop.
Meanwhile…
Taoiseach and Fine Gael leader Leo Varadkar (above) and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Tanaiste Simon Coveney (top) leaving Government Buildings following the special Brexit meeting/Midnight feast.

Update:
Cabinet source sounding pessimistic about tone of legal advice – ‘probably won’t be enough to get it over the line’
— Laura Kuenssberg (@bbclaurak) March 12, 2019
1. Arlene Foster tells us DUP doesn’t want to be rushed, sympathetic to demands for a day delay, will be looking carefully and analyzing the documents
— Laura Kuenssberg (@bbclaurak) March 12, 2019
Foster also eager to see Cox advice – but she accepts it is a ‘political as well as a legal choice’ – won’t be drawn on how DUP will vote later but ‘very conscious of our role in all of this’ she says

This will never end.

Bollocks

See?

of course foster doesn’t want anything rushed, and is wary of DP role .. all simply because she’s loving being in the news so much. Someone who should be cast upon the dump of irrelevancy and shouting her banal, bullpoop into an echo chamber is of course delighted to be in the headlines so regularly.
Surely,
“An unarmed pizza delivery man”.
More gig economy exploitation.
This is fake news. The very definition of it.
Until the UK attorney general Geoffrey Cox publishes his statement on the legal addenda to the Backstop nobody can make any informed opinion or decision. And if they are forming their thoughts before that event they are wrong.
The DUP and the ERG are absolutely correct in saying they need time to parse the attorney generals legal advice.
For our Taoiseach to say the Withdrawal Agreement has not changed is petty stuff. A legal instrument has been added! What is that instrument, Teresa May knows, Geoffrey Cox knows, Jean Claude Junker knows and one would assume Leo Varadkar knows.
If Varadkar and Junker are saying nothing about it (they have not said one word about the legal instrument except to deride the notion of it) one suspects it puts the EU in it’s place.
I for one am looking forward to the opening of Coxs codpiece.

Suppose we paid for those pizzas
…waiting for usual suspects to comment here…they seem obsessed with pizzas…
It is, after all, a most delicious food.
Some good imagery here:
Late-night pizza and stubble.
I’d have added loosened ties with top shirt button undone.
you forgot the rolled up sleeve
and a hard-hat!
PROPOSED pizza.
LOL
Too much of it will definitely provide a backstop.

Is there a backrasherstop flavour one yet?
