All demographics and tastes catered to.
Except sludge metal.
Denied. Again.
Also: How many Irish acts can you spot?
Meanwhile…

Ah here.

Heavy Lungs :) …need a good “let’s go mental” gig over the weekend :)
I’d rather gargle broken glass.
I knew Gargle Broken Glass before they were cool. Too mainstream now.
True enough.
I suppose these days I’d rather ingest said broken glass and egest it.
:)
Really? The Strokes, Jarvis Cocker, Echo and the Bunnymen…
Seems alright (if not exactly overwhelming) to me.
Pulp were formed in the 70’s, hard to believe….
+1 on the first two from me
Not exactly overwhelming as you say, but some other good ones in there and with much variety, for me anyway, and adding to those ones… Courtney Barnette and Parquet Courts, Maceo / Kolsch, and I’ve a mate who wont shut up about Sam Fender …plenty there I don’t know which is always fun… nearly/mostly :)
Been to them all, but this’ll be my last Picnic… replacing it with All Together Now. The Picnic is too big (for my liking) at this point, where as ATN is certainly more comfortable…. and it’s on my doorstep! Whoop!
The Streets are still going?
His book is a great read….
I saw him play at the only HiFi festival near Mullingar in 2006, a proper pillfest and not in a good way. Mike Skinner got bottles thrown at him by many scumbags throughout his set.
