These children will be irredeemably scarred from the shameful policy of this government, the dip-poos in the Dept of Housing don’t even know how long these children are stored in hotels, B&Bs, hubs but in some cases, it’s years. Dublin City Council alone spent €66m accommodating these homeless in 2016, it’s €150m today and Peter McVerry warns it will be €300m in two years. Eoghan Murphy should be dropkicked out of office.
Dropkick Murphy?
Joking aside, you’re right, and it’s a load of taxpayers’ money going into the pockets of private landlords when it could be paying for more public housing.
