    see the thing is, the people who vote for her are the kind of people who really don’t care about her role in the destruction of a mans life. same people who vote for FG in general. the “im alright, jack” crowd.

      she lied & was exposed as being complicit in the attempted destruction of a mans life (for me worse than conspiracy to murder) & yet she sails along with her campaign & looks likely to get elected to a fat & very nice job in Brussels

      if she gets in it’s a clear example of an electorate getting what they deserve

      wtf is wrong with people?

        ‘Looks likely ‘ is what the MSM wants us to believe. In other words they push this line out and expect people to consider her a success and identify with a perceived success. By voting for her. The message above is quite clear. We know her form.

          Fine Gael certainly would prefer you to forget about how terrible she is. The main stream media don’t care either way. Never assume agency where laziness or incompetence is as probable.

        Not everyone reads the news in detail and knows much about the case.
        Some may like you to think she was even ‘vindicated’…

        Even at that, the majority of the Irish electorate appear to have very short memories.

    With the absurd notion that she had ‘ doubt about the people of Dublin voting for Francie

    If Francie isn’t first past the post on Saturday
    She’ll take the second with plenty spares

    And this interference in her campaign is going to make it even easier for her

    Strip her apart in debates and with her record in Government
    And challenge her fitness for the seat in front of the electorate

    Not with vandalism

      You mean the Claire Byrne debate tonight? Do you honestly think a lightweight like ‘r Claire will be able to muster questions, follow-ups, retorts, to wheedle the truth out of Frances? Of the other candidates, Clare Daly is possibly the only one who could challenge Frances, but in the context of an RTE debate, I wouldn’t hold my breath at all.

      And that will be the end of the debates.

      As it’s not apparently illegal and more a civil matter, I think reminding people of Sgt Maurice McCabe in the context of this election is valid.

        I’ll take some flack for being a stirrer alright
        But you can have your rhymes with kite if you think I have something to do with the quality of the debates
        Or the candidates

        If candidates on a ballot are competing for your vote
        Compete in the appropriate forums
        Be it the doorsteps, telephone poles, YouTube streams, town halls or televised debates, radio debates
        Even feckin bus routes
        And of course the best campaign winning formula
        Your credentials and record of representation

        Interfering with yer one’s posters like this will not get them the result they think it will achieve

        I’m predicting Francie to tally not less than 15% 1st Prefs on Saturday morning

        The squawl of Independents, including Hermann from the Ireexits to have less than 5% between them

        Hope I’m wrong
        But nah

        It will be main stream / main party candidates inc Clare Daly for 80% plus of the Dublin No. 1s

        And Higgins to be the most transfer friendly when we start getting the later counts
        Dublin may go on for days
