“has been allocated”?
By whom?
From what budget?
Based on what evaluation criteria?
“has been allocated” is such a beautiful expression. It’s almost religious, like moving statues. Will Simon Harris be available shortly to
claim credit forcomment on this miracle.A Greenway funding call from last year, announcements made this week to coincide with Dublin hosting EuroVelo 2019, no doubt.
It’ll make it look like we give a poo about active travel/sustainable transport.
Jesus…I suggest you take a trip down Eoin. You need to clear the head at some point.
It is a tweet, mate. Do your research or write to them. Why are you annoyed about this?
He can’t cut and paste that you see.
Such intolerance to reasonable questions all because you agree with this allocation. You’d all be asking the same questions if, let’s say, RTE was accused of allocating TV License money to a Catholic radio station.
Hopefully it goes ahead. The Westport and Waterford Greenways have been resounding successes. For not a huge amount of investment, there has been an awful lot of return. Tourism and service industries would get a great boost out of it.
That’s probably true. Hopefully they won’t use that timber construction on the walkway though, it’s a death trap for cyclists in rain and icy weather. Also, they’re extremely flammable.
plus a nightmare to run on
Did you see the word “walk” in there?
Awwwwwww!! I had that five million earmarked for an airfield in the middle of nowhere. damn!!
This is a good thing.
That’s great news
