Genius move by sponsor ‘SoftCo’ to put their name on the girls’ posterior region.
Eyes drawn to the SoftCo sponsor logo on their… kit.
The ladies of the various codes, including hockey, lacrosse, rugby, soccer, etc. have really done this island proud over the past number of years. They sadly do not get the plaudits they deserve, though it is getting better.
Delighted I was to hear of the crows attending the ladies all-Ireland final this past weekend.
I have never understood why men’s sports seem intrinsically ‘better’ than women’s sports in the same codes. After all, it was an Irish lady (Stephanie Roche) who is so far the only lady nominated for the Puskas Award, alongisde the so-called ‘greats’ of soccer. I still think her goal was better than the one by Rodriguez that year.
“Crows”…was the singing THAT bad.
(C’mon I couldn’t let this misprint go).
It was murder.
Hah! Thanks for noticing :)
*Crowds!
