Fairly sure I remember a Thomas Cook sign on that building in the 80’s, a different one to that obviously, you could see it as you walked up Westmoreland St, as a kid with short legs the walk around town was tough going!, I didn’t know street names so I used landmarks such as signs and statues to know where my Mam was dragging me next!

Having never used them, I didn’t know they were at that location for so long – certainly not since 1957.
Yeah my wife worked in that Thomas Cook office, I didn’t realise how old it was either!
