      These are simply people at whom someone has pointed a camera – which is all it takes nowadays.

        @Paul: They are smartly outfitted socialites who got a free drink for turning up for a commercial launch. Our lives are not lower in quality than theirs just because we didn’t get an invitation to the ‘event’. I don’t read Cosmopolitan, the Tatler or the social gossip page of The Evening Herald. Who cares?
