Sorry – I’m a dog type – apparently if you die, your dog will lay over you, rather that a cat who, historically will eat you. The woman in the story in the link was a judge at Crufts – she owned the block of businesses below her flat, no-one knew she died, until the smell,.

Anyone know what the arrangements might be

The removal might be from Massey’s Dolphins Barn / Rialto,

So some traffic planning will be in order, for me anyway

Yes, I hope there is some forewarning…unlike Brendan Grace’s send-off.

When my condolence book opens in the Mansion House, I want a glass tumbler containing a befitting tipple rather than a tea-light. Thanks.

      1. Slightly Bemused

For me. that tipple would be Middleton 50 yo Special Reserve :)

I had not caught the tea light. You would think with the crowds outside something larger might have been in order, if only to reduce times of changing it over.

        Ah here Spag
That parting glass you’re laying for your send off might get us all into trouble

Ye needn’t worry about missing my own notice in the Herald

I’ve donated my body to science

when it comes to the likes of andrea corr and myself, it’s enough to just sit there looking hot

      1. Gabby

@some old queen: The Corrs are family-oriented, quiet-living folk with no pretensions to glamglam. What they present to their fans is their jolly music. If you don’t don’t find them sexy you can ogle and dribble over Lady Gaga and Madonna.

  2. GiggidyGoo

TV/Radio presenter. That’s all he was. Yes, a good one, but giving him what’s bordering on a state funeral is plain idiocy.

    1. some old queen

No he was way more than that- The Late Late was an institution and he shaped the national discourse more than any other single individual. He wasn’t perfect but that such a who;s who would turn up at such short notice is testament to the high regard he was held in.

      1. GiggidyGoo

Joe Duffy does the same 5 days a week.
Both good broadcasters. Both well paid for it. But bordering on state funerals?
        Not in my book.

Listening to those morons lining up to sign a book to a man who despised most of them I suddenly realised they all have the vote. We’re finished!
