Behold: the Ford X Webasto Mustang Lithium – an electric version of (the sixth generation of) an archetypal American muscle car – a 900bhp sports coupe with an old-school appeasing 6-speed manual transmission.
It is, however, a one off prototype (debuted this week at SEMA in Las Vegas) – a mere showcar that won’t make it into production any time soon.

An affront to the late-60’s Mustang
Was in California this summer and developed a deep abhorrence of Mustangs. As bad as seeing them over there is, they look completely ridiculous on Irish roads. The auto equivalent of cowboy boots.
