Eoghan And Ted’s Excellent Adventure

at

‘sup?

You may recall the mysterious paddler and his trusty hound photographed last month on the Grand Canal at Dolphin’s Barn, Dublin 8 and featured here.

But who were they?

Well..

Eoghan and Ted in Kerry (above) and Wexford (above)

Eoghan (above left) writes:

The dog is Ted… a rescue from Gorey [County Wiexford] . Loves getting out on the board. We get out about twice a week since the Summer….. Never fell in… Yet..

He’s also an honorary member of Kevin’s Hurling Club also…. Loves the small ball and will play all day.

In fairness.

It looks like Ted has also spotted the photographer in the photo, ever vigilant and ready that breed, good luck and Happy Christmas to Eoghan and Ted, may ye never fall in. (how do you both get on to the board ??!!)

Thanks…. I’m lucky enough to live very close to Harold’s Cross Bridge where there is a perfect little jetty for hassle free launch. Ted just walks on… no hesitation. So I can paddle 3 klms to Davitt Rd… No locks… Its totally deserted most of the way. A great way to keep fit.. I don’t like gyms. Only wind stops us getting out.
