We Can Build It

at

This morning.

Labour Party HQ, Dublin.

Pic 3, from left: Director of Elections Ivana Bacik, Leader of the Labour Party Brendan Howlinand Alan Kelly surrounded by Labour candidates at the launch of Labour Party General Election campaign bearing the slogan: ‘Building An Equal Society’.

Hmm.

Also: where’s Joan Burton, anyone?

That looks like they lowered the ceiling to make someone look more impressive

and Joan was too tall to help them get away with it

TBH the best thing Labour should do is NOT DO any press

Labour – the party of failed civil servants and step-ladder socialists.

They’ll get a vote alright, just above where FF would go – and below everyone else.

I’m sure she is a nice lady, but why would they have Ivana Bacik front and centre at such an event – time and time again she has been rejected by the electorate on each occasion she has ran.

They need to keep her in the limelight now so the public will be ready for an announcement about Ivana as Labour’s candidate in the next Presidential election….

^^ This. It is a baffling move (or maybe genius) to have one of the proven least electable Labour politicians as their Director of Elections.

        Yeah
        I don’t get it either
But then some of their Candidate selections don’t make sense either
        And no Candidates in Kerry

everyone in that picture looks like they’re having their will to live drained.

I’ll never be able to see Labour as anything but a bunch of liars. Pass.

There appears to be more people in those photographs than there are Labour voters.

Ivana Baçik’s dropped the whole “Independent Senator for Trinity College” shtick then for this gig? Funny that.

I remember in the past, some candidates would refer to themselves as
      Independent Fianna Fáil
      Independent Fine Gael

Ivana probably terms herself Independent Labour now.
