Piers Morgan (left) and Alastair Campbell
A majority oppose what is happening. The party of government no longer even bothers spelling out alleged benefits but plays damage limitation. The party of opposition similarly in denial about its role in the damage being done. The world watching with mix of sympathy/scorn 2/3

And you can take a walk too you narcissistic wimp. Agreed to a charity fight and then bottled it. And still talk the talk criticising all and sundry for weakness! You’re like Brexit. All bullshit bluster and nothing quite what it seems, and bound to fall flat in the end

This morning/afternoon.
What a pair of complete characters.
I’m seeing double here! 4 insufferable gobpoos!
Britain on the drink more like. Who cares?
I think Brexit is a terrible idea, but Campbell saying that:
“A majority oppose what is happening”
– is wishful thinking. The recent general election results demonstrate that British people want Brexit; it was Johnson’s main (only?) policy position.
Not really. The first past the post system resulted in the Tories getting a massive increase in seats from just a 1% increase in the popular vote
I think so, yes. If the people wanted to stop Brexit, they could have voted for the lib dems. If the people wanted a 2nd referendum, they could have voted Labour. Apparently they wanted neither of those things.
I know.
Great, wasn’t it ?
Meanwhile Ireland is likely to elect another coalition leaving the country with no effective opposition and FG/FF playing musical chairs.
I know which I prefer.
Enough of these two buffoons.
I’m looking forward to a bit of plain speaking from Sir Nigel of Farage tonight.
Nigel Farage: The Man Who Made Brexit, airing at 9pm tonight on Channel 4.
Marvellous.
Jayziz! It’s almost enough to make one watch Love Island!
