Earlier today.
In Grange, Tullow, Co Carlow…
St Brigid’s National School tweetz:
“Some very ‘persuasive writing’ from 4th class as to why they should play in the sneachta.”
Mmmf.
Also, in fairness.
Let them out for pity’s sake.
Meanwhile…

Going by that spelling, no!
Let ’em out!! :0)
Misspelled “allowed” for starters, stay back for detention
Twice: aloud and alowed
“we, the children, shall overcome”
lovely writing in fairness
Indeed! My daughter was educated in the US and they no longer teach cursive or any form of joined-up writing. I think it is a pity, as it is beautiful to read, and almost makes up for the misspelt words
If I remember correctly, Neil Gaiman’s Sandman series contains some panels where cursive is used and this led to US readers complaining that they couldn’t read it. Heaven help them should they ever need to read their Constitution.
snowflakes!
Awwwwww! That’s adorable!
A once in a week chance!
We need an update later in the day. Did they get let out? Did Katie get detention? Were snowmen mad, or snowballs thrown? Did it all melt by sos?
Shall we ever know?
“Were snowmen mad”

I pass a school where a stack of cones and a roll of red-white tape sits ready to fence-off the playground at the first sign of frost: Principals can be nervous in these litigious times!
