Clockwise from top left: idris Elba, Placido Domingo, Prince Albert of Monaco, Harvey Weinstein; Tom Hanks & Rita Wilson and EU Brexit negotiator Michel Bernier

You don’t have to be famous to get it.

But it helps.

How did he get it tho’

Tracking and Tracing his movements shouldn’t take long

Is it mean to assume he is in the high risk of fatality group?

who’s going to be the first to say – what they said about Epstein’s death.

Tbf he’s probably at greater risk in a men’s prison if the court evidence about his genitalia is true.

Fascinating, statistically there seems to be a very high degree of Hollywood celebrities and high level politicians infected.

Which is most odd, particularly re. Hollywood people as they are relatively cocooned from the general public, no public transport etc.

I’ve never seen any illness occurring so disproportionately among the great and the good.

Is this publicity to promote themselves or social distancing and if so why would they want to make people more worried than they already are? Or are celebrities being specifically targeted or doing something which makes them particularly vulnerable…

No doubt we will find out in due course!

Politicians I understand – they have a lot of interaction with people.

Hollywood people – it depends – wherever they go I image they are approached for selfies (and autographs – do they still exist)? They would get a lot more (unwanted) attention. Granted they don’t do public transport. Oh, they can also afford to get (privately) tested – so are more likely to know they are positive.

I think that it’s more likely that the media will focus on Michel Barnier or Tom Hanks, rather than some Chinese lad who works in an office.

Isn’t it that they are just getting tested earlier and maybe without even showing symptoms?

I don’t accept the premise that the proportion of celebrities & politicians infected is higher in the first place; a handful out of the 350k cases worldwide doesn’t really illustrate anything (other than perhaps the relatively low-bar for being considered famous).

Celebrities will have more access to testing, thats just how it is.
The other explanation that you missed was that it is much much much more widespread in the community than the statistics are saying.
If the symptoms are mild would you even realise you had it.
      Need to Social distance people!
