“ Finally, social media star Tadgh Fleming, who shot to fame when he recorded the fallout of a bat invading his family home in Co Kerry, will appear on the Late Late Show to discuss the latest member of his family to go viral, his 91-year-old grandmother Mary O’Brien.”

    Can’t wait!

His cameo in 1917 is my favourite bit in the whole movie. Lieutenant Leslie.
(hands over flare gun) “I do so hate losing these to the Hun. When they start shooting at you could you… throw it back?”

I take it you hadn’t seen this love in from

“And there’s Ryan Tubridy himself. The much maligned Ryan Tubridy. His diagnosis for Covid-19 gave a face to the pandemic and seemed to give people a real fright. His return has also seemingly given him a new mandate to speak to the nation. He has poignant, he has been serious, and in reality, he has been very important in the last number of weeks. The lack of a studio audience has helped him. He now speaking to us at home, and it feels like it. He is no longer the glitzy American style late night host trying to rile up a crowd. He’s a serious broadcaster who has come of age when needed most.”

Must everyone wage their own personal “battle” with every ailment they encounter, regardless of its gravity? Do you do battle with the common cold? Cross swords with indigestion? Enter the arena of death with chilblains?

  5. Sure Jaysus You Know Yourself

Starts with a ” the Irish people” then quickly moves to a “In reality” followed by the obvious thing to say then lists all the things that are actually being done but she’ll suggest they need more “oversight” plus eh …. “transparency” (the fuppin irony) and “great urgency” There. See. Anyone can do a Mary Lou. Sure there’s no Amenities.
