I always loved bikes of the motorised kind, but for the life of me could not keep track of them (Pardon the pun). A dreadful sense of balance since childhood probably is to blame.
A few years ago I fell afoul of an anniversary of Harley Davidson within 100 miles of the factory. The riders were some of the most down to earth people I met. One of them took me on on a tour of the various bikes parked outside. The owners were all really interested in showing off their rides. And the guy who started it did not know a single one of the others (other than his wife) but they all just went something like ‘hey, what you riding?’
I hate to have to but Dorset Street is D1.
