Nick’s Coffee Shop, Ranelagh, Dublin 6
This morning
Via Nick’s Coffee Shop:
Since this pandemic started our landlords have harassed our staff and the livelihood of our shop. And now after being told by our solicitor they can’t just demolish our shop and stores without court order.. they do… At 5.30am 10 builders arrived with the landlord. We now have no store!
Anyone?

Ah no!!
A bit vague on detail this.
Had you stopped paying rent yet continued trading?
Not that it justifies coming around and demolishing the shop mind you….
why try then?
Due him
You have rights and better still use lasts years figures for losses
passed this place yesterday and thought they had a good system for the pandemic, in one door and out the other, was plenty of people socially distancing while waiting too. This is a shame.
Oh no.
What a bunch of ladyparts
Scumbag poobird fly-by-night landlords and builders. They did exactly the same thing to UnderDog boxing gym last year. Gang of builders showed up really in the morning and did as much damage as they could before the court issued an emergency injunction later in the day.
I see the name I called them didn’t make it past moderation, this must be extremely frustrating for you, I wish there was something I could say that would make it better…. maybe you could let the air out of their tyres, it’s the little things…
Mine didn’t either but mostly there
Eoghan Murphy’s constituency office is yards away from ya there Nick
Ya can’t miss it
If you tripped over that fake grass carpet you’d be half way there
get yere Minister onto it
as if posh-boy would do anthing
Why was the HSA not notified of unsafe work practices. No masks, no distancing.
Masks….are…not…mandatory
Deep breath now. But not too deep obviously, lest you breathe in a coronavirus. And wash your hands. Twice.
What a shame.
I think they are open. In their Twitter it just said they now have no “stores”
Shocking!
They look more like Baliffs than builders?… hardly takes four of them to demolish a wee hut?… unless they Corpo trained.
seems an awkward place to have a coffee shop and people sitting around at the entrance through to another place
Entrance to a carpark and some prime D6 real estate. Suntrap too so nothing like it. If only they did ice coffees.
