is it just me, or has journalism got lazy. is the name “The Queens” making a mockery of something. Previous Queens were slave trade owners? Or is it inappropriate because some transvestites are called Queens? Help me out here.

Probably named after a type of potato.?

The letter seems straight enough. At least employees aren’t arriving to find themselves locked out without explanation.
Maybe Pat Kenny will buy it?

Should we stop growing and eating King Edward potatoes? Should we rename them after Father Ted?

What do mean “journalism”? This is a site that features misspellings, pictures of pets and cartoons.

People getting fired by email would be the thing not the name of a pub.

The place is routinely jammers, it’s a golden opportunity for someone who’s managed to weather the lockdown with some cash on hand

..what MURDERING and KNEECAPPING-thats your contribution haha why bother no really why bother its drivel, absolute garbage, its like overhearing some hate filled toxic oul lad at a bus stop, there’s a lot more that to come-to be sure to be sure….deep meaningful insight from our resident misogynist Mary….

And…. what’s going to happen – apply for planning permission for a nursing home or what. WHY isn’t it reopening? It’s not like 3 months without years of solid trading would finish any business. Sounds like an excuse.

I am not sure of this business but you would be surprised how many were living week to week- especially restaurants.

Having to even half restock could be the straw that breaks the camel’s back plus quite a number of staff may be non national- are they even still around?

Agree…i think a lot of businesses will use this an excuse to get out of whatever trade they where at and walk away.

Have never seen a bigger pack of knobs sitting outside bar. Well, apart from The Bailey.
