The message that FFGR want to get out is that Eamon Ryan has achieved something – to try keep Catherine Martin from winning the Green leadership election, and to try win over the green members into voting for the agreement.
As it stands, Ryan is losing out on those two counts. The members of the green party are young and educated, and they see the damage that will be done to them courtesy of a fool at the helm.
And don’t think for a moment that Michilín has a majority of support either. The FF grassroots have had enough of him selling out the party for his own personal pedestal-hunting.
