British holidaymakers face a 14-day quarantine after arriving in Spain

This morning.

Spanish Foreign Minister Arancha Gonzalez Laya told the BBC Spain is considering imposing a two-week quarantine on arrivals from the UK next week, despite opening its doors with no restrictions for the rest of the EU.

The minister told the BBC’s HARDtalk programme: “We will be checking what the UK will be doing and we will be in dialogue with the UK to see whether or not we should be introducing reciprocity as they have different measures than the rest of the EU.”

Olé.

“despite opening its doors with no restrictions for the rest of the EU.”

Doesn’t the Express realise that the UK is no longer part of the EU?

it’s the only way they can jab the EU. Like walking into a room, farting and then walking away while complaining about the smell.

Over the past 24 months, UK leadership has threatened all sorts of nasty things to Ireland, including starvation, as part of the Brexit negotiations.

The UK is currently the worst managed state in western Europe with an out-of-control pandemic .

Yet Paddyland is the only place insisting on keeping borders open with them during this period… Why?

I’m going with boot-licking subservience and the love of the taste of British leather.
      I could be wrong.

Surely you mean a wall just around DLR and Pembroke?
The rest of us could live with that.
