I’ve never heard his podcast but I’ve heard adverts for it at the beginning of other podcasts –
why does he speak like that?

He’s doing his Limerick scrote accent. That’s about as funny as it gets. Dublin has Damo, Limerick has Blindlad.

        Ah, I see.
        probably not for me.
I think I’ll stick with Melvyn Bragg’s In Our Time :)

The “Dunphy’s Bunting” episode is a great look at the social media rabbit hole and how people get dragged in and indoctrinated.

Thanks RB but I think that voice would make me put my foot through the speaker.

also a fan of In our Time
The Irish History podcast is good too although the accent wreaks my head, Fin Dwyer, Kilkenny I believe, well maybe it’s more the flat tone,
I initially enjoyed Blindboy podcasts but recently he over simplifies a lot, lectures and in general behaves as if his audience have a learning difficulty

The description is quite funny on the items. And the line ‘I can not be there to dry your tears when you yet again come to the realization that you have purchased pure tat off the internet’ Ha Haaaa

Bonfire of the Inanities. Never have I heard such fertiliser masquerading as insight. The emperor has no plastic bag.

His book of short stories isn’t too bad . It would put you in mind of a young Spike Milligan.
