I’m not a petrol head but is it an Austin Seven?
Ford Anglia
Beetle
Morris Minor

further back – Ford Cortina Mk 1?
Commer van
Agreed:
…and the furthest white cars look like an Austin 1100 and a Fiat 600 or 850?
Is it not a Ford Zephyr?
Behind the Commer Van might be an Austin A 40, this side of the Austin 1100?
Surprised none of you saw the exquisite Land Rover Series iii
Ford Zephyr was a much bigger beast of a car, probably twice as long as the compact Anglia, I had a Zephyr for a while
Well spotted on the Land Rover. I know little about the variants because as kids we rarely saw one; except army ones on a parade…or as fire-engines.
It’s not the 60’s though. Apparently Poolbeg Chimney A was built in 1969, but Chimney B in 1977. Some 70’s hairstyles visible in the photo too
photo of Poolbeg back when it was only half the eyesore/national treasure it is today

My grand uncle (great uncle? I am never sure about how the titles go. My Grandad’s brother) used own a Beetle, one of the early ones. In my town was one of the original dealers, and once, when my thingy uncle came to visit, all of a sudden mr Dealer turned up at the door. He had seen the car come in, but had not seen one of that vintage in a long time.
The two of them spent the better part of an hour chatting, much to the relief of my dad :-)
