Séamus It Ever Was

at

Supreme Court Justice Séamus Woulfe and retired judge Gillian Hussey

This morning.

RTÉ Radio One’s Today with Claire Byrne.

“It beggars belief but it doesn’t surprise me. Nothing changes, this has been going on for years. We all bear responsibility for this, we vote these people in. These politicians were not voted into government.”

Ms Hussey acknowledged that her appointment as a judge had been a political one, but she said:

“The minute I was appointed I distanced myself from the political scene. Personally I don’t know any politicians. I’ve kept well away from them and from reporters.”

Ms Hussey said she would not have attended such a function.

these are things that won’t ever ever change as long as we keep the old political parties in power. most people want decent people in charge, looking after the population. some still want this old animal farm rubbish. and wierdly, many people who want to keep FFFG arent people who benefit from their nonsense governing style at all. sheep voting for wolves. thats the bit i can never understand. regular joe soaps defending them. with nothing to gain, only to lose. a blind faith in the system, too scared to wanna change it, too dumb to allow it change. as long as there are swathes of these idiots amongst us we’ll never shake off this old style, self serving, corrupt political class.

An apt choice. Coulda be written for the hoor himself.

        “And you may find yourself
Behind the wheel of a large automobile

And you may find yourself in a beautiful house…

…And you may ask yourself, well
        How did I get here?”

The judge pictured should take that stupid thing off his head if he wants to be taken seriously.
