Tony Broughan dressed as Molly Malone prepares for the GAA Championship game between Dublin and Donegal, August 17, 2002
Very sad news this morning that Tony Broughan aka Molly Malone has passed away. A man who brought so much joy to others in his support of his beloved Dubs. The Hill won’t be the same without him. Sincerest condolences to the Broughan family at this heartbreaking time. RIP Tony 💙 pic.twitter.com/hwpS9zar2M

There’s a little graveyard beside my house and there’s a chap buried there who died in May. His family have Liverpool memorabilia around his grave. I often think about it as I walk past, he never got to see them win the PL.
Rest in peace Tony, at least you lived to see the five in a row.
RIP Tony
Godspeed Tony.
