This morning/afternoon.

Russian President Vladimir Putin is “waiting for official results” from the US presidential election before congratulating a winner, the Kremlin said today.

“We consider it correct to wait for the official results to be finalised. I want to remind you that President Putin repeatedly said he will respect the choice of the American people,” said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

…China said today it would follow international custom in making a statement on the US election, when asked why Beijing had not congratulated Democrat Joe Biden on his victory.

“We noticed that Mr Biden has declared election victory. We understand that the US presidential election result will be determined following US law and procedures,” foreign ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin told a daily media briefing.

No. I think Pat was going to write a comment that was moronic, but actually typed “Moronic comment” instead.

Leo lying to the Dail. https://villagemagazine.ie/at-least-10-times-not-2-or-3/
Lying to the dail is a resigning matter.
Donohue and Harris now dragged in. Our European friends must be wondering what kind of politician we are raising in Ireland. Hogan first, now Varadkar, and now Paschal (President of the Eurogroup) Donohue to add to the list of undesirables.

Varadkar won’t stop until he brings down minister after minister. He needs to man up now and resign. A disgrace to himself, his party and this country.

Awaiting Cian’s twoppence worth at 11:40 or so. He will be Biden his time. ROFL.

Isn’t Putin gone in the head and about to be wheeled off stage so he can poo himself to death somewhere ?

I’d slag off Xi but he’d off me with one of his 5G death rays so best not.

I don’t know why people keep forgetting the crematorium the other side of the garden centre.

Sorry but what is being implied here is nonsense. The Kremlin waited until Trump officially won in 2016, and Obama won in 2012 before sending official congratulations. If they start congratulating people before the country officially announces it, it would be very disrespectful to the opponent and could lead to a misunderstanding. It’s nothing more than protocol. With media reporting like this, can you blame them? How can they believe anything in the news. Waiting for the official correspondance from the country itself is the best way to go.

I wonder are they down the back of the couch? That’s were I find lost keys, coins, and remote controls…
