Behold: the ‘Porsche 993 Remastered’ by Californian aftermarket tuning outfit Gunther Werks, which specialises in this particular late 90s classic.
One of only 25 donor Porsche 993s to get the full treatment, this vehicle has a bespoke tan leather and Alcantara interior, a full carbon fibre body panel swap out, upgraded shocks, disc brakes, a tuned 435bhp 4.0l flat six engine and an ‘Irish Green’ paint job (for the day that’s in it).
Defiant tricolour, Éireann go bhrum, it was for this, and so forth.
Yours for €490,000 (+shipping)

Rothaí teo, an ea?
Even without a makeover the 993 is a beaut
I do love me a nice Porsche.
Just a slice, mind you.
Is maith liom an Porsche agus cailín álainn a thiomáint.
Seeing this reminds me of the sad passing of Sabine Schmitz, who handed Jeremy Clarkson his proverbial arse in Top Gear by going around the Nurburgering in a Transit nearly as fast as he did in Jaguar power car.
And as Hammond said, the faces of people in Porches being overtaken by a van were hilarious. You do not need to be a petrolhead to enjoy this:

She really put it up to them over the years. I always enjoyed her on screen segments and was disappointed she didn’t return after the reboot. Now we know why.

As a slight aside, did you know that British Racing Green is actually Irish? It was adopted by the British racing team for the Gordon Bennet race, held here in Kildare, in the early 1900s. The three colours of the Union Jack were taken by other country’s teams, so as we were at the time part of the UK, they chose green, what was and should be again known as shamrock green.
The green on this Porsche is lighter, but the deep green of shamrock green is beautiful on a shapely car
