They’ve Got Me Da

at

Della Kilroy and Shane Creevy, presenters of RTÉ’s The Truth Matters podcast

….we spoke to Jitarth Jadeja. He himself got sucked into QAnon – the baseless conspiracy theory which holds that Trump is somehow secretly battling an elite “cabal” of paedophiles, all of whom just happen to be his political enemies.

Jitarth gave us an insight to his state of mind and behaviour as he fell down the rabbit hole, and how he managed to get out of it. He still lives with the responsibility of bringing his own father into QAnon, and he hasn’t been able to get him out yet.

More as we get it.

What’s coming is what’s coming. Could be rain in the afternoon, a sudden personal epiphany or a trip to the corner shop because you’ve run out of milk.

I expected photos of Spiderman defrauding the election on my desk by noon four months ago, Parker!

Bezos, Gates, Musk, Cook, and some guy from Google are going to basically do an evil power ranger thing and take over the world… even more than they’ve taken it over already… that’s what’s coming next… you heard it here first…

Of course part of the problem is the establishment politicians and the mass media repeatedly lie to us. But they don’t lie all the time.

For instance the bias against SF is plain to see but it is constantly denied in the face of the obvious nature of the prejudice.

The large wealthy meat factories were given a free pass by the government despite the clear evidence of massive infections. But small pubs, shops were closed. The flower sellers on Grafton Street, in the open air, were shut down whilst Lidl, Dunnes, ect were allowed to sell flowers.

Just because you choose to believe something or someone else, doesn’t make the media liars.

You got in quickly with some whatabouttery there re Sinn Féin.

The meat factories were allowed to stay open so that we don’t starve, you might recall some empty shelves at the start of the pandemic – there were lots of staples missing such as white rice and pasta. As were other food processors allowed to stay open. That infections happened was inevitable though I’m sure more could have been done to inspect and protect workers. Comparing meat processors with pubs is apples and oranges.

Dunne’s and Tesco got away with murder early on, I’ll agree on that one.

The Legacy Media lie, constantly, it’s their job. It was pretty dishonest when in a healthy state, now that it’s on it’s death-bed, it’s completely untrustworthy. It’s selling itself to the highest bidder, it’s a whore with no morals & a low IQ. The sooner it’s history, the better. Not long to go now…

          1. K. Cavan

No, Nigel, another strawman, quelle suprise! If the Legacy Media’s narrative wasn’t so threadbare, it wouldn’t be an industry in terminal decline & people would believe, as you seem to, that the internet is full of dangerous facts & a variety of weird opinions & best avoided. But they don’t. It’s funny really, the Media constantly echoes the opinion that the net is full of echo-chambers, while every media outlet pumps out exactly the same, government & Corporate-approved line. With all overseas news gathered from only 3 companies, AP, Reuters & ATP & the same repeated, focus-grouped, mantra-like phrases & slogans echoing away, it’s actually become rather unhinged & it’s certainly not fooling all the people.

There’s the ordinary everyday incredibly serious job of dealing with lies and incompetence from politicians and press, and then there’s the dangerous fanatical messianic reality-non-contingent whoop-de-loo-la of Qanon, of which covid-conspiracy is a thriving offshoot.

Except Qanon followers are Trump fanatics and he lies more than anyone. They love lies.

    1. K. Cavan

Never mind Nigel, it’s nothing to do with Trump, Qanon or any other strawman. The question is the integrity of the Legacy Media, a question that wouldn’t even need to be asked, if all was well.

I’ve witnessed the same paranoid person go from:

Feb 2020: ‘they’re holding back the news on this, COVID is already everywhere it’s a pandemic and fatality rates are way higher. The airports should be closed but the WHO is in cahoots with big players to downplay it so they can protect big business like the oil companies’

March 2020: ‘they’re telling us masks are ineffective but at the same time that there is a shortage in hospitals, there’s a plan to infect people and thin the herd to bring down the pension deficit, it’s been agreed in Europe and then they’ll replace with healthy immigrants when it’s over’

May 2020: ‘scamdemic, this is a plan to consolidate power over people and bring in madantory vaccines and permanent controlled movements’

    Etc etc

Some people just believe all policy is nefarious

So that’s what QAnon was about. I never really had a clue… although I thought it was something to do with lizards and / or aliens mingling with elites for some reason.

I preferred my own wrong interpretation to be honest :)

Hyper inflation is what coming. Actually it is already here but most do not see it yet. Price rises in raw materials is going through the roof. But don’t worry ,that is yet another conspiracy theory. It is only temporary or so they say. I have seen price rises of 30% already which will soon trickle down to everyone. When you make more of something, you de-value what is already in existence. The money printing during the pandemic has only accelerated what was eventually about to happen. Hold onto your assets or buy some as your cash is going to lose its value fast.

    1. K. Cavan

Nobody around now has ever experienced the type of inflation that’s coming, it’s unlikely that our current economic system, which ceased to be Capitalism with the Bank Bailouts, can survive. On the other hand, if the jabs are effective, we’ll lose a lot of useless eaters perhaps producing an effect like the Black Death, which ultimately revitalised Middle-Ages Europe. I, for one, will never forget the ultimate sacrifice all you Covid Cultists have made & as I douse your heaped-up bodies with petrol, I’ll offer my thanks, then reach for my Zippo, with ne’er a thought about the CO2 produced by your pyres. I will of course be masked-up & very much socially distancing from your putrid remains. Ah, smells like victory…
