    luck of the draw, some of them are sound, others are zealous damaged frustrated geeks (and you’re their outlet) worse still their framework although top class is very much a “one size fits all” affair, small or quirky operators will always be in a fight because they sometimes will demand solutions that just don’t correlate to the practical real life situation. balance of power is 100/0 with added blanket excuse of public health thrown in. I happen know someone who does a soup run, she’s pristine yet because what she does doesn’t fit the spreadsheet there’s a lot of battle scars so this is no surprise, must give her a bell.

    HSE really need to take a look at their setup around all this and try to find a way to work with these people.

      I agree but you just have to read the papers every month, there are unending and countless reports of so-called restaurants with rats droppings etc. – especially in a volunteer or charity set up like this -who is in control or accountable, really? I’m telling you every Tom, Dick and Harriet will be trying on this ‘charidee operation’ provider route in no time at all…
