Taliban lad in the Blackhawk on the front of The Telegraph looks like he’s having the craic…

When he’s done with the flying capers maybe we can ask him if he wants to be a UN envoy on Freedom of Expression…

    No piglets, all halal…

watch as the dreaded Taliban are slowly but surely rebranded for the western public as they become America’s allies against ISIS-K. Come back into the tent lads, we’ve missed you. The whole departure has seemed contrived for public consumption. Afghani soldiers have said they were very willing (and keen) to fight, not least out of fear of severe and possibly fatal retribution under Taliban rule after having fought them for years and killed many of them. They were first ordered to not open fire on the advancing Taliban, against their wishes, soon after they were told to hand over their weapons to the Taliban, much to their shock. The whole Taliban takeover was preplanned and agreed at the highest level by the looks of it. The country was handed back to the Taliban.

Wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if ISIS-K was a CIA operation at this stage, not sure anything would when it comes to the US.

Keep the Taliban off balance and possibly throw a spanner in any any Chinese or Russian deals with them. Stranger things have definitely happened.

Yes this is correct. The corrupt Afghan military command were paid large sums of money to instruct their soldiers to walk away from fighting the Taliban. There are suspicions of wealthy Islamic countries money being involved. The US intelligence on the ground was regularly misdirected and given false information, even ripped off when buying petrol stock for their vehicles from the Afghans. This is why the US thought that it would take months for the Taliban to take over, when in fact it took a couple of days. US military generals involved were mostly frauds.

U.S. General Milley’s greatest accomplishment is his collection of meaningless medals on his jacket, from winning p*** all battles, total delusion and wasting trillions of tax payers money. What a joke!

Japan & South Korea no longer want the protection of the US military with such incompetent leadership.

Jesus, changing an f to a p now?? Even though I used stars to mask the bad word. Are you really editing posts to this level of tediousness? Really dumb.

Maybe just provide us with acceptable templates of sentences instead of pretending that you want users to comment?

            Christ on a bike.

What are the bets- the wider Irish and UK publics will soon be “offered” the boosters but, after a certain period of time, the goalposts will move again and should the double-jabbed continue to “choose” not take one, they therefore will no longer be deemed “fully vaccinated” and will subjected to restrictive measures.

Israel is a bit further down the line with the coercion:

    https://www.wsj.com/articles/in-israel-being-fully-vaccinated-now-means-three-shots-11630426257

‘TEL AVIV—Israel is upping the vaccine ante, pressing citizens to get Covid-19 booster shots and saying those who don’t will face restrictions on traveling, dining out and other activities.

Holders of Israel’s vaccine passports must get a third dose of the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine within six monhs of their second dose or lose the so called green pass..’

Well info_warless I can’t believe you sold out and let you eyes wander over a lame-stream media article from the WSJ…

What would Toby Young say… tut tut

On the ITN news last night it was announced that half a million vulnerable people would be given a third shot. It was pointed out that this was not a booster shot as that program had not begun yet.

So already, they are prepping the public for a forth shot.

And yes, as the goalposts move as to what vaccination means, so will the passport certs. Of course the usual clowns on here have nothing to say apart from bitchin at the source.

    A tale of two Simons.
Simon Harris nailed his colors to the Coveney mast in the FG leadership competition.
Varadkar gives the college dropout the health portfolio.
Varadkar tries to hang Harris in the confidential leak controversy.
Simon Harris spills the beans on Merriongate.
Varadkar sees opportunity to deal with Harris as well as any threat from coveney for the leadership.

    And it’s not over yet.

Soul destroying loss for the kids in Portugal last night but there’s an air of inevitability about Irish teams over the last 10 years. Had so many chances in the first half but zero composure in front of goal.
Still though, have I mentioned how much I’m still smiling since the final of the Euros?

Our Parolympians have opportunities to win a few more medals. As we go into autumn and long dark nights we can be cheerful about good performances in Tokyo.
