I also see the Guardian are reporting “Taliban ban protests and slogans that don’t have their approval”. Are the Taliban being advised by NPHET? Next they’ll be banning dancing and forcing women to cover their faces.

Which is exactly what happened in this case. More to the point- they are an organisation which requires widescale cooperation and if another organisation was founded, they might find themselves out of a job pretty quick.
