Ms Martin was speaking at the launch for this year’s Culture Night, which takes place on Friday 17 September.

Over 1,000 events are planned for Culture Night, 80% of them in person, and all are adhering to current government guidelines which includes 60% capacity indoors and 75% outdoors where attendees are vaccinated or recovered from Covid-19.

Entitled ‘Come Together Again‘, this year’s Culture Night will showcase a wide range of activities including comedy, circus, dance, museum visits, musical performances and film.

I’m delighted that KN will be stuck at home crying in their cornflakes, while all the vaxxed sound lads will be having a whale of a time skulling pints and watching Macnas.

Genuine question lads (and all joking aside)

Are you guys not concerned that the vax pass won’t go away at the end of October?

And if you’re not concerned, do you see boosters being tied to the vax pass in the future and does that concern you?

And lastly, even if you’re NOT concerned about any of that, do you see how some people might be?

And how the whole vax pass thing would make the vax hesitant dig their heels in even further.

How does this work? “I’m not going to get a medical procedure because if I do, not only will I get protection from a virus, I will also be able to go to restaurants and pubs and gigs more easily…”

        this is bad somehow?

No I see it more like – I don’t want to get a medical procedure now, because if I do, where does it end?

Would you not be concerned with a situation in the future where future boosters are required to maintain the new privileges you’ve been given?

Plus, my families natural immunity to Covid isn’t taken into consideration. Even if we got current antibody tests to prove our ongoing immunity.

          So not even scientific.

  2. Cui Bono?

It’s frightening how this vax pass was ridiculed as a conspiracy theory in March 2020 and now that it’s being rolled out, the same people who were doing the ridiculing are happily accepting it and they can’t see how it’s wrong and how bad it will get in the future.

    0% foresight and 100% denial.
