Imelda May wasn’t off the Late Late for too long. April was the last appearance I think
Belle of the liberties, don’t cha know!
I thought Van was verboten.
Hes still plain old Tony Blair!
Brenda won’t knight him apparently with the result that no PM since has been knighted either. Goes back to Diana it seems…
Discussing adrenochrome use with The Chair of the Elders.
I used to really like Bob Geldof until I read on a forum where air crew share stories of celeb passengers that he was a rude bollocks who refused to engage. He would communicate only via the flunkey accompanying him. Ick, Sir Bob.
There are many reasons to dislike the sanctimonious Bob Geldof. Online, anecdotal, hearsay, is not one of those.
He’s a penis.
I agree
I’d prefer to spend the evening peeling off my toenails with a pliers than suffer that Bob fest.
I literally bumped into Sir Bob at The Comedy Theatre, Leicester Square, London @’92. I was at the lower end of a rather large audio equipment road box coming down the very narrow stairs. Himself and Paula Yates were walking up, I kinda reversed into Bob. To be fair, he apologized to me for being in my way, I said, “Sure, you’re alright Bob!” . Admittedly, not one of Shayna’s most exciting anecdotes.
That’s a good age.
Obviously Andrea Corr and Imelda May struggling.
Tony Blair?
ah sure he made a couple of good albums with the Rats back in the day. He did attempt (alomg with Midge Ure) to save the lives of a huge number of starving people and did arrange a huge event to make money for them.. More than most have done in fairness.
And he’s had anough trajedy in his life. So I’d say let him be.
Note: I have considered it a personal life failure to watch the late late show ever since 1984 so I will not be watching it.
So Ireland will celebrate the birthday of a man who openly castigates the Irish people at every opportunity, has not one good word to say about the country and effed off to England and accepted a knighthood as soon as he could?
He should talk to the BBC about celebrating his 70th. “Bob who? Oh yeah, nobody cares I’m afraid”.
johnny?
Wait, Mary Robinson’s The Chair of the Elders?
I’m talking one for the team :) Bob looks well, he’s mortified as anyone would be.
