Ah now.
This morning.
But sure could they not stay in a hotel? We have plenty of them or one of those fancy overpriced student digs!
Why are they going to college anyway? How dare they plan for the future, the neck on them……

Why so early? The first bus isn’t until 06:15
Which bus service would that be?
Bus Éireann service 109X starts at 4.53am from Cavan Station and arrives at Busaras at 7.08am. The following one is at 5.52am arriving at O’Connell St at 7.59am. The next bus leaves Virginia at 6.33am and arrives at UCD Belfield at 8.45am.
I worked with a woman who commuted from Cavan to Dublin daily and she got the 5.52am bus to be in Dublin to start work at 8.30am. It’s an awful commute.
Sorry, my bad. I missed the earlier ones. However, the 06:15 109X from Cavan Bus Station will drop them to Glasnevin cemetry at 08:01 with a 45 minute or so walk to DCU, or they could even get the 4/9/155 Dublin Bus the length of Botanic Road in a little more than 5 minutes. Plenty of time for an 09:00 lecture.
Also, you don’t know where in Cavan they’re coming from. You could have nearly an hour drive from Blacklion or Glangevlin just to get to Cavan town for the 5:52 bus
There is a bus from Cavan to UCD?
Ag Sci?
Or fiscal management course?
Copper wire was invented by two Cavan men fighting over a penny.
(poss Neil Tobin).
Niall Tobin even!
The tweeter is a lecturer in DCU according to their bio. Why does everyone want to have the student going to UCD?
Probably because UCD is a proper university and DCU will always be NIHE (Nearly in Higher Education).
+ UCD is on the Southside so a better class of punter.
And Dolores Cahill lectured there so it must be good.
