Jaysus I must see if nana millser knows anyone there. She hailed from round those parts once upon a time.
Fresh faced, healthy, and in their Sunday best for the photo. Remarkable woman for looking after their children so well. But, aside from the familiarity of those faces, what struck me most was this was taken before heroin came to Dublin and ripped through the fabric of the community. I don’t think a photo taken today would show such healthy open faces.
