New Year’s Festival Dublin have this afternoon announced the line up for their FREE event ‘New Year’s Afternoon In The Castle’ taking place in Dublin Castle on New Year’s Day. January 1.

Last year, BBC 4 had a brilliant special on the Sex Pistols putting on a free gig for the families of striking firefighters in the 70s. Catch it if it’s repeated this year. Really heartwarming stuff.

Holy crap. You have to pay to go to this tripe. I thought it was a free offering. Even if it cost nothing, staring at wallpaper would be the preferred option.
