People should not concern themselves with others vaccine preferences, except when deciding to meet with them or not.
If you are expecting to meet up with people over the Christmas holiday period, and you do not know their vaccine status, then make an enquiry with your friends/family and make an informed decision to meet or not.
If you don’t get vaccinated, you seriously harm others and society in general. The virus spreads. If I’ve an abortion, it doesn’t harm anyone. Different scenario completely.

You see, this is the problem. I’m presuming you’re an adult, and yet you’re still asking questions like this. Attention-seeking is for kids. It’s time to stop the attention-seeking.

I expect Sara may perhaps say that without the vaccine you are:
(a) more likely to pass the virus on to others (though evidence exists to the contrary)
(b) in doing so may pass it on to a vulnerable person either directly or indirectly who may become extremely ill (if (a) is true) thus burdening an already creaking health system or,
(c) may get Covid and become hospitalised yourself thus burdening an already creaking health system and do a (b) on it at the same time !
I would ask how are we any better off one year on from December 2020 when we had no vaccine shots in 93% of the adult population and i’d be told it’s because the vaccine was designed for the Wuhan strain and not for the Omicron or Delta variants. I’d then be told that’s what the booster is for as it increases “protection” against the Omicron variant and revert to points (a), (b) and (c) above. I’d also be advised that because more people will be infected with Omicron than on the basis of percentages more people will be hospitalised subject to the official data bearing this out when the time comes.
That’s what I’ve been told when I’ve questioned the whole shebang out loud. Oh and you might also be asked, rhetorically, how can any of this be a conspiracy when most of the modern world is taking the same or similar action to Ireland?
Well, Sara might say the above or she might make some dubious remark about sports-people, possibly cast aspersions on your intelligence or tell you to shut up and get the vaccine. I know you’re not really asking as I expect you’re aware of the “party” line on why we are living in some sort of open-ended, nebulous and woolly timeline that presumes as adults we cannot take responsibility for ourselves and those around us. While there’s an appreciable minority that are morons and cannot take responsibility even for themselves, the majority of people in my experience (yes, anecdotal so not really a fact outside of my head) are pretty decent sorts who wouldn’t wish harm upon anyone.
Well Sara, like a few others, doesn’t say a lot apart from ill thought out virtue signalling and an unshakeable faith in authority- which right now appears to be unable to tell it’s ass from it’s elbow.
And when you look at what is happening in New York- the highest daily infection rates ever while being jabbed to the eyeballs- it is pretty obvious that the vaccines are a failure, because the ‘strains’ are all minor variations of the same virus.
What is more of concern is if the vaccines have actually made people more susceptible to SARS-CoV-2, as predicted by people like Judy Mikovits- also suggested as a worst case scenario by Fauci- time will tell.
If you are vaccinated then you should ensure those who you socialise with are also vaccinated.
If you do not know the vaccine status of a person or persons you are meeting up with, that is a risk you are taking and not an onus of responsibility for others.
PS: there are many people who will disagree with your view an abortion doesn’t harm anyone.
A bit like the differing opinions of the pro/anti vaccine argument.

imagine there was a system where we could categorise everyone by getting them to either sew or iron on a little badge or patch onto their clothing…different shapes and colours perhaps depending on vaccination status, what type of vaccine they’re packing etc.
could double up with maybe a wee tattoo with some sort of serial/identification number to help the authorities out with the population management/accounting aspect
Would make everyone far more identifiable and would cut down on the amount of investigative legwork required! I reckon it could be a winner, happy days etc.

If you’re an adult, there is no choice. Society comes before the individual. If there’s a virus, you get vaccinated. If you believe abortion harms anyone, then I suggest you either grow up, or get an intelligent adult to explain it to you. Playtime’s over.

I used to think you were just joking and trying to wind people up but now I realise you just haven’t a clue. These vaccines are not the same as traditional vaccines, they do not provide immunity and stop transmission. Your argument is debunked. When the revolution comes, you won’t know what to do with yourself. Revolutions are not pretty things, lots of blood and gore. If you think people dying during a pandemic is bad, it’s much worse during a revolution. There are no underlying conditions, people just die because they were on either side of the battle and either got caught in the crossfire or were not considered prisoners of war.

The Easter rising was fought by people who were fighting oppression and poverty. Not by people who were selfish and didn’t care about anyone elses health as long as they were ok.

The 1916 men were also vilified by the majority immediately after the Rising too..It wasn’t until the British starting executing injured Rebels that public opinion shifted in their favour.

Good evening all. I can confirm that Omicron is one of the mildest viruses you will ever catch. Have it now myself. Have had way worse colds. Some back aches, and leg aches over the past couple of days, nothing beyond a slight head ache, chills. That’s about it. Seems to pass after about 48 hrs. Nothing to fear. The timing is crap for me but its not the end of the world either.
I’d almost recommend going out after New year’s and trying to catch this variant. Gain some natural immunity for any possible worse variant and a 6 month pass too. I’ll be able to sit beside the Vaxx loons in the bar until June now. I’m sure they’ll be delighted.
Coincidentally,, caught it from a fully vaxxed friend who’s housemate (also fully vaxxed) brought it back into their house infecting them all (all fully vaxxed in the house). The vaccine does sweet FA to prevent transmission and the virus itself is like a mild cold with some achy muscles.

And statistically speaking Nigel, the overwhelming majority will enjoy a Covid experience similar to mine. This was only ever a pandemic for the very elderly and those with serious underlying conditions. Why have you no faith that the Holy Blessed vaccines will not protect them? I strolled through it without anything but my own natural immunity. Either I’m Superman, or this is one mild virus.

No one is immune from any virus, because viruses mutate and your immune system has to find a way of defending it’s self against a new strain and sometimes it fails to do so.
