    I’ll be lambasted for this, but with the exception of Ms Otis [based on photos submitted], the other dogs are obviously house pets without access to outdoors except on grass – and I’m not talking about the smoking kind.

    Long nails on dogs are very painful and need to be clipped regularly because they can cause many issues. Nail clippers and battery powered pumice stones can be purchased if going to the local vet is not an option; pumice stones are a better alternative for more nervous dogs.

    P.S. The same attention has to be given to all animals such as horses, sheep etc.

      That poor dog in the second photograph. That’s so cruel. The state of his nails. Whoever owns it should be ashamed of himself.
