Here’s a mad fact I heard recently – Beckett used to drive Andre the Giant (his neighbour in France) to school for two years because his car was big enough and Andre’s dad’s car wasn’t. Andre was huge by 13 as you can imagine. Beckett helped out as Andre’s dad did some labouring for him. Google it – most random thing I’ve heard in a long time……
Typical how Ireland loves a guy who chose to live somewhere other than Ireland for the last mere 52 years of his life.
