It’s the anti-vaxxers who are pushing the division in the country with their feudal anti-science views.

    1. E'Matty

Funny you should choose the word feudal as that’s exactly what your acceding to, a new age of digital feudalism. You guys should have a competition to see who can take the most shots in 12 months. I’d support you personally in that endeavour.

It’s not anti-vax to be against the vaccine passport system.

It’s also not anti-vax to chose not to take the covid vaccines because covid is not a risk to most of us and the vaccines don’t even stop transmission.

I chose not to eat white chocolate but I’m not anti-chocolate because I love milk chocolate.

Must be tough to acknowledge that you’re the latest iteration and expansion of a fraudulent movement, but here you are.

        1. Kali

Must be tough being one of the few left clutching your covid pearls. The rest of the country will be getting on with life and you’ll still be twitching your curtains and crying about kids for playing outside.

Even the CMO knows the covid story has run its course. Testing is being reduced to at home antigen tests with an online portal for uploading results and the close contacts isolation period is being reduced to a few days (soon to be zero).

The dregs of society that have enjoyed the past two years of “following the science ” will be either too proud to admit how gullible they’ve been or too thick to realise.

always a pleasure to see one of those big “in-yer-face” and glaringly obvious
orange pointy-arrows popping-up on the Broadsheet there,
to draw our attention to some totes-hilaires / deep and meaningful /
or just plain ol’ heart-warming detail…
      Vive la Republique…! …Vive le Bodgeur…!

    4. Ben

I run a pub and I agree fully
      COVID pass to stay
      Get vaccinated
Maybe tented facilities for non vaccinated if they get covid

        1. Ben

          It’s not ignorant
Fact is vaccine helps protect you so
If the message has not through anti Vaxers heads then fine they can be treated in tents in fields

Just popped back after a few months away. I see the patient is still feverish and the drama continues. Only 30,000 after such an intrusion on freedoms etc..

    1. SOQ

I think you’ll find the anti PASSPORT numbers are set to grow once people realise what they have signed up to but you are just a troll- so what do you care eh?

It’s all just a big school yard laugh now isn’t it? Sad.

Thanks SOQ, the resident voice of reason.
      I was wrong.

Thoughts and prayers to each and every one.
      Science is stupid.

Facts are fiction and fiction is the future.

        Medicine is scary SOQ.
Just relax. You’re way too (past) tense.

Get a grip on yourself young man!
The whole stance of Broadsheet’s editorial policy is to create more clicks. It’s what they do. They think it’s their job.
It’s almost as obvious as it is misplaced / misdirected/ misinformed.

I bet that none of them are NOT vaccinated.
It’s like the Oirish version of Fox “News”.

  3. ANO

Are we sure it’s not just 4 folks voting far too many times ? Would explain why Broadsheet can’t find 5 non-vaccinated souls for their stream!

Would be disappointing if we’re still using the passports come summer but if we are, this will definitely be the one online poll that makes any damn difference at all.

I’d say at least 50% of these are from fake email addresses or people tricked into signing. Someone signed on my behalf, I almost clicked on the link that would have confirmed my signature.

All this talk about people using new pseudonyms…
I hadn’t noticed it meself until I started to wonder where some of the site stalwarts had disappeared to.

It’s just them again, isn’t it?
Afraid to use their original aliases for fear of totally warranted ridicule.
Painting themselves into a smaller corner every day.

That might not be possible to prove as a fact.
I said it on the internet.
That makes it true, by their definition of “truth”.

    1. bisted

…the most astonishing figure in Ireland is surely that over 92% of adults have been double jabbed and are entitled to a Covid pass…9 out of 10 random adults will be vaccinated…but where would you meet those random adults…certainly not in the pub or restaurant or anywhere evidence of vaccination is required…an omerta seems to have broken out among ratlickers…even head ratlicker on Broadsheet boasts of going for a few pints…

      1. E'Matty

But lads, don’t you know I am free to sit beside you now in pubs and restaurants completely unvaccinated, lol? Had Omicron before Christmas. Have had worse colds. I continued working throughout, it’s that bad an illness. Now I have a 6 month pass and didn’t even have to get a single jab. Going to try for infection again come the summer to get the vaccine pass extended. I can do anything the gullible vaxxed can and they’re pass expires too, just like mine will. Except, my body is free of any experimental vaccine which may be a ticking time bomb for the vaxxed. All I can say really is, hahaha haha ha…..ha.

        1. Kim Cardassian

So what you’re saying is that you’re delighted that you got covid and can now feel like a normal person by sitting in restaurants among those you despise the most.

          Cool cool cool

          1. E'Matty

Nah, by being infected I now get to circumnavigate the apartheid system and enjoy the same freedoms the vaxxed do without ever having to take on the risk of the vaxx. Its pretty much a win win for me. I’d recommend all unvaccinated go out and try catch Omicron. Now I get to sit back and watch how you guys get on. Let’s see how your immune systems are doing in 2-3 years time.

          2. johnny

(Individuals who get an mRNA vaccine are not exposed to the virus, nor can they become infected by the vaccine.)

          1. E'Matty

I don’t think legal arguments are really your thing Bisted. But, knock yourself out with your Wuhan boosters, and even then, you still might catch Covid and get sick, lol. Remind us why you’re taking these repeated shots again? The important man told you to, wasn’t it? The gullible just keep on being gullible.

  7. Rob_G

So, 30k (half of 1%*) signed, as opposed to the 92% of Irish adults who are vaccinated – well done, I guess…

*even if every single one represents a real person, which is somewhat unlikely
