The number of children who suffer severe CoVid-19 is absolutely miniscule- more probably get hit by a bus.

As for being over- only when the emergency legislation is rescinded, and no more stupid muzzles.

One child suffering is too much, weather it’s from Covid or any other illness. Or your favourite, getting hit by a bus.

        1. SOQ

People, including children, die all the time- so it all comes down to percentages.

It is looking like the percentage dying from vaccine injuries is likely to be higher than that of CoVid-19, so why this that not an issue?

I can’t believe the Daily Star actually prints an Irish story and it’s accurate and we can collectively hang our heads in shame…… bah

Haha.. ye.. He looks a bit stoned there..
I wonder did anyone bother to check if that had anything to do with it at at the time… ?

I honestly thought my brain was misfiring, like I was hearing things from a new horror film mixed with a comedy.
-Children of Men meets Weekend at berties etc.. ,

Ye, darkly hilarious maybe but also pathetic, sad, bleak.. . Looks like it’s time to emigrate again folks… Zombies are not just a lazy, weird marketing idea gone wrong and on for far too long..

Also, didn’t he(they) leave the corpse behind on the floor of the post office…? Is that right?

      Jayzus…

There’s something very odd about a newspaper which prints details about the death of a fashion designer and publishes a photo of a 1980s female actor instead.

It’d take more than a bit of raffia and hair-spray to make me mean business! >.< Meiowwwww

Can you imagine the tailbacks at english ports if the landbridge still had the same usage by Irish hauliers?
The UK has had ample opportunity, since 2016, to prepare for Brexit. While Ireland was quick off the mark and running courses and information sessions for Irish businesses, Boris & Co. were in ‘it’ll be alright on the night’ mode.
Now it’s 18km queues at Dover. And Heseltine is imagining that there could be another Brexit vote once Boris, erm, ‘vacates’ No. 10.
And the favourite to take over? – Liz ‘we export british tea to china’ Truss.
    Laugh a minute.

That is indeed funny because according to the Port of Dover the queues of 5-6 miles ” were not out of the ordinary and traffic was flowing smoothly through the port for much of the weekend ”
Increased customs checks were “not the sole reason for queues”.
It pointed to other factors including the volume of freight, work going on in the Port of Dover and a number of ferries being out of action for servicing.
A quick reminder that Dover is only the UK’s 7th-busiest port

Long night shift in the Portakabin ?

Oh yes. Long night alright. Counting all of those imaginary Stobart trucks that you think are coming into Dublin Port.

One thing you should try to remember Charger is to make sure you know what you’re writing about.
Dover is a RoRo port. It’s the busiest RoRo port in the UK. Roll on Roll off. And Europe is the main destination of the haulage companies using it. Queues of 18km were not normal until Boris and his chums decided to create a bit of history. The queues by the way don’t include the staged trucks at inland border facilities.

National Highways turned off traffic cameras so that people couldn’t see the queues. ROFL!

Dover Ports aren’t fooling anyone (apart from yourself). The reason for the queues is down to your government’s incompetence.

        Do try to keep up.

Before you make an even bigger fool of yourself than you are doing consider why none of the rabidly anti-Brexit media in the UK are not making more of this than you are.
And if unexpectedly high volumes of freight traffic are causing some tailbacks on both sides of the channel what happened to your many claims that trade between the UK and Europe would be destroyed by Brexit ?
Empty supermarket shelves ? Vital medicines not getting through ? Any more of your doolally theories ?
Here’s real-time traffic cams from the M20 leading into Dover this morning.
You can play SPOT THE QUEUE to while away the long hours in your Portakabin..

Seriously, if you’re going to keep digging like this you’ll need a bigger shovel.

          1. GiggidyGoo

You are aware that this time of morning wouldn’t be a busy period as companies are loading trucks through the day? Try your real-time around 7pm. Already building J11. Nobody said it was continuous.

Yep, Charger – keep digging. You produce a link to a BBC report to say that it’s due to an increase in traffic, and then you produce a link to live cameras mid morning which suggests there is no increase in traffic. Yep, you’re a true gobpoo.

https://www.thelondoneconomic.com/politics/brexit-lorry-queue-at-dover-so-long-you-can-see-it-from-space-309198/ Almost a Father Ted moment.

          2. GiggidyGoo

Hah – the sign you’re done, is posting silly videos. Take your medicine. You haven’t a clue what you’re writing about. Stiff upper whatever you’re having yourself.

Quite extraordinary that at a time of heightened aggression in Europe by Putin the EU is almost totally invisible.
The German Foreign minister has had to resign for sharing the prevailing view in his government that Putin deserves respect.
And strutting martinet Napoleon Macron is revealed as nothing more than an empty suit on stacked heels.
The Americans will take note of the UK’s early action in sending weapons to support Kiev, flown to the Ukraine avoiding German airspace.
It is of course NATO that is preparing for action and not the EU, still bleating from a supine position about how it has kept the peace in Europe while pleading with Vkad not to turn the gas taps off.
And Ireland ? The boy Coveney embarrassing himself in front of the grown-ups while desperately trying to find out if the Navy has a single ship to put to sea.
The UK’s GCHQ spy centre is providing vital intelligence to the allies as it always does – Ireland is relying on the Skibbereen Eagle …

    This is FRAUD.
FFG controlled council, this is what the mob does in Jersey,no show jobs and work.

“Mayo County Council was forced to pay back more than €1.2 million in government funding after an internal audit found miscoded invoices and money drawn down before any work had taken place.“

“For a section of the Clew Bay Greenway, the council had been paid €250,000 in funding.
However, the report found: “There has been no work done to date and hence the grant was drawn down on October 30th, 2019, in contravention of the terms and conditions of the scheme.”

          Speaking of which
did I hear that the Mary Robinson Fund for Climate Justice is being wound down?

now there’s an interesting serious of accounts

          will I?

edit : just checked they haven’t loaded up an annual report since 2017

          1. V aka Frilly Keane

over a million in cash spondoulies there in 2017 (pg 36 and note 16 pg 47)
            List of Donors pg 19

Pretty flimsy on its governance set up and whatnots, particularly costs

Can’t really adjudicate as they aren’t really current nor have I ever paid them any attention previously

only to say that it appears the Foundation was well set up to keep growing, its not like Climate Justice and all things Climate related have gone away

The pull quote in her own intro (pg 4) “leave no one behind”
somehow feels let down by her
But then, that shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone familiar with the girl

This is why incompetence that is enabled, like left in situ, or knowingly appointed, like sideway job moves
along with cronyist appointments and engagements

needs to be treated as corruption

and btw, over and under invoicing, and claiming / receipting monies under false claims is in fact Money Laundering
      and a criminal offence
